Mogas refuelling best practices

Re: Mogas refuelling best practices
I use a "jiggle siphon hose" to download the fuel from my 5 gallon containers into my RV-12 -- it works great and takes just over a minute. The container sits on a small temporary aluminum platform on top of the fuselage and the whole shebang is bonded to the airframe (and I also ground the airframe for added safety). Some hoses purport to have anti-static linings (e.g., Harbor Freight's version) but I'm not totally convinced of their effectiveness.

For crying out loud, Eddy . . . don't poke the bear.FastEddieB wrote:. . . . has anyone heard from or about Mr. Koupal recently? After brief stints in the Light Sport and Cirrus worlds, he seems to have effectively vanished.
If it’s inappropriate for discussion, please PM me, I’m genuinely curious.
