The McGee approach
Approaching Mammoth Yosemite Airport from the southeast I like to fly over McGee Mountain. Airport is in the right of the frame.

Nice! Just wondering: Have you ever flown out to Alamo Field (L92), just NE of Area 51, via R-4807A after leaving Tonapah (on a weekend, when it is "cold")? Just gathering any available info, as it's next up on my List.

I've always gone round. I've never transitioned R-4807A
