I've been lurking here a long time, just now got registered. I am a sport pilot living in Athens, GA. I have not been flying in about three years, as I have been building a Sonex. My flying time is evenly split between a Zodiac 601XL, and a Tecnam P-92 Echo Super.
I also like dogs and long romantic walks on the beach.
Welcome Mr. Morden! I am just down the road in Augusta, Ga. N838BF, an EA/B Arion Lightning is what I am flying as Light Sport. Currently have her hangared at KHQU. How do you like the Zodie 601? If if get over this way give me a holler and I will buy you a cold drink. I keep a fridge stocked with sodas and water.

Thanks gmohr! I didn't love the Zodiac. Very sensitive in pitch and a bit squirrely in rough air. The Tecnam is a beautiful airplane though, loved the heck out of that one. Currently building a Sonex. Will let you know if I end up in your neck...you do the same!

Hello all. Freshly minted Sport Pilot here - March 2012. Currently flying a 2011 Cessna 162 out of PDK in Atlanta.
Great website! Look forward to meeting everyone!
Eddie, in the ethanol-free department, do you have premium (91UL) available, or only regular (87UL)? [As you probably know, but our lurkers may not, the 100 HP Rotax 912ULS needs the former. The 80 HP Rotax 912UL uses the latter.]

Yes.
Three local stations carry ethanol-free gas, and at least one generally has 93 octane. I have 2 five gal and 3 two and a half gal cans, and can arrange more if necessary. 100ll is available in a pinch at Copperhill.

Hello neighbor! I am in the process of purchasing an Allegro 2007 for me and my son to train in. Thinking of keeping it in Jackson County. Would like to meet and chat sometime when you are free. Tony

Just checking in... did you complete the purchase? Are you in Jackson Co.?
I did. Unfortunately to find out my son has absolutely no interest in flying. Now the plane is for sale. Located in Jackson County. IF you see anyone wanting a nice Allegro send them my way. It is just sitting in the hangar. Thx! Tony
