King Checkride Course CD-ROM

Sport aviation is growing rapidly. But the new sport pilot / light-sport aircraft rules are still a mystery to many flight schools and instructors. To locate a flight school offering sport pilot training and/or light-sport aircraft rentals, click on the "Flight School And Rental Finder" tab above. This is a great place to share ideas on learning to fly, flight schools, costs and anything else related to training.

What? Before XP? Unfortunately that would make that CD ROM more like a fancy drink coaster.

If it's from the XP era, I doubt that it covers the Sport Pilot checkride (which didn't even exist before October 2004).

I don't mean to poke fun at your XP CD and it was a nice gesture to offer it up but so much has changed since that disc was published. Heck, in the ridiculous time span of the year it took me to complete my sport pilot training because "life" got in the way there were numerous updates in that same time frame for the Gleim course I had.

Nevertheless, it was a very kind offer.

The King sport pilot training course at the very least is the exact same as the private pilot training course except they added a couple of videos describing fat ultralights and how to take care of 2 stroke engines and telling you to bring a portable radio because your plane won't have one.

I don't know about the thing you have but if it's any alike then it'll be for a PPL but with some outdated sport pilot information added in as an afterthought.
