Remos adds plant in US

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Remos adds plant in US

Post by rsteele »

This along with their ads comparing the G3 with the Skycatcher say Remos are really serious about cultivating the U.S. market. I looked at the G3 at S-n-F last April. It looked pretty nice, but it's a little too small inside for me. Superficially it's a lot like a CTSW, Composite, high wing, Rotax etc.

Anybody flown a G3? Any Impressions?

If I read the article correctly, the Remos plant well be for final assembly. This is probably similar to what will happen with the Cessna - build it overseas, take it apart for shipping and put it back together in the States. But it sure feels better with Remos than with Cessna.
