Thanks Warmi! I love the panel. I think they laser etch the stick grips as well. Very nice. What did you have done at Midwest Sky Sports? ADS-B? Did you knock out any rivets for me?
BTW, the patriotic paint job on their new Sling 2 is great!
Who owns that awesome looking Sting S4 in the background? That is a great looking airplane!

Yep, awesome.
The default panels we get from dealers for companies like TLUltralight or Flight Design look like amateur jobs on 100k price tag items

Are you doing IFR Sling ? The panel looks like it is ready for something like Garmin 430 ...

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: I thought long and hard about spending the extra money for IFR...I decided that for some extra cost...it was worth it to me...I also think I would be perfectly happy, 92% of the time, VRF equipped,...but....there is nothing more maddening, TO ME, than being grounded due to a low overcast...(as an IFR 20,000 hour pilot)...hence.....I am paying for the Garmin GTNxxx that allows me to go IFR...I also splurged on Sirius/XM just to have Fox News, music, etc on the 5 -8 hour flights...hey!...it is my one-and-only dream-machine, final, airplane....
FYI: The leather seats are the same leather as BMW....
PS: If you are lurker... Midwest Sky Sports is freakin' awesome...and that is an understatement...period...dot...end...
warmi...check PM

I only hope you meant Zinc Phosphate and
not Zinc Chromate.
Other than that it's looking great.

Thanks ShawnM. I got a "C" in chemistry...barely. What I meant to say was "note the green stuff, that stops corrosion, on everything" .

10,000 more rivets today...making headway...the Midwest Sky Sports guys have been feeding me food like crazy...Frankenmuth chicken (google it)...Mancino's...The Oven...Club 24 Burgers...Pizza...ugh....I think they are fattening me up to require upgrading the ULS to Turbo...but, worth it!

Oh the Oven ... that’s the first decent looking food joint you see when you enter Caro going back from MSS. I had something called Wet Burrito there right before 2.5 hour flight back in mid afternoon thermals back to IL in my LSA.
Good food but but damn ...it was bad timing ...
Keep posting updates ... I am really curious about the paint job you guys are planning for your new Sling -between Hangar 1404 Sling and the new MSS bird, these paint jobs keep getting better and better.

Hey Warmi,
Gutsy move on the Wet Burrito! You are a Great American!
Club 24 is great. Mancino's Italian Grinder is awesome.
The fireflies (real fireflies) are incredible...I have never seen this many fireflies..ever...not in PA, KS, FL, TX, Germany, Japan...
But, until you do Frankenmuth chicken, you haven't lived...
BTW, Frankenmuth has a public grass strip right there...restaurants will pick you up and bring you back...and you can camp at the strip if you want.
