Rest in Piece eight zero zero november whiskey, you were a good ship and a gentle beast, and I had fun training in you for my first 12 hours. Let this thread be your tribute. Another student crashed it last week, coincidentally on my exact time slot in the same ship, but I cancelled it in the last minute. Whew!

Luckily both the student and the CFI are reportedly OK. The CFI was hospitalized but apparently he is more or less fine with some injuries. Thanks God!

Well, I'm going back tomorrow to continue my flight training into my 16th hour in their other plane. I'm a bit shaken, wish me luck!

Too bad.

Glad the injuries weren't any worse.

Found some info here: http://www.kathrynsreport.com/2014/09/a ... -2014.html

Nothing I can see related to the cause yet.

Speculation at this point, but it appears they may have come in too shallow on approach and caught a power line.
