It takes at least 2 months for a newly registered aircraft to show up on the FAA online database. That's why temporary registration forms are good for 90 days.

Correct, but most of the time they give an explanation, sale pending, expired, in question, cert terminated, cancelled, etc. Upon further research by aircraft serial number the plane was sold from Jet C aviation, hence the "JC" in the old N number to an individual who has since changed the N number.drseti wrote:It takes at least 2 months for a newly registered aircraft to show up on the FAA online database.
