The celebration of Great Valley's Bicentennial will continue June 29-July 1, 2018 at Great Valley Airport with a Vintage Aircraft Fly-In and Veteran's Display. Vintage aircraft will be on hand to provide visitors and enthusiasts an opportunity to witness the evolution of aviation and a glimpse of early transportation our forbearers would have been familiar with. It is expected that aircraft from the 1920's, 30's, 40's, and 50's will be represented along with more modern types. Vintage aircraft will be coming from near and far, and the Bicentennial Committee has secured funds to help offset the cost of fuel for aircraft traveling great distances. Awards will be presented in several categories, including: People's Choice, Greatest Distance Flown to the Event, and Oldest Aircraft. In conjunction with the Vintage Fly-In, there will be other activities in store, including an Antique Car Show, A Sock Hop, and Veteran's Display. Katy's Fly-In Restaurant is right across the street from the airport, offering great food and reasonable prices.
