KLZU Lawrenceville GA - Zenith Zodiac

There's hundreds of flying clubs around the country that own and manage aircraft for their members. Aside from the camaraderie, clubs make flying more affordable.

KLZU Lawrenceville GA - Zenith Zodiac

Post by Sam »

The EAA chapter 690 at KLZU is looking to start a flying club (separate legal entity) with an airframe that was donated. The EAA is willing to make the plane airworthy and sponsor a long term loan for the members. We need at-least 5 members for the EAA to go through with helping us create this flying club.

Here are some rough costs being calculated right now. Subject to change.

Code: Select all

Dry
Hours Flown per Year	Annual Cost	Cost / Hr
        25 $ 2,057.61 $ 82.30
        50 $ 2,515.95 $ 50.32
        75 $ 2,974.28 $ 39.66
        100 $ 3,432.61 $ 34.33
This reflects a roughly (for 5 members)
~$1050 annual membership fee (upfront for first year, possible to merge this into a monthly payment in the second year)
~$50 monthly fee
~$20 per hour of flying *dry*

Pretty cheap flying. Reply or DM with email and phone number to be added to the mailing list. Right now we only have 2-3 confirmed members including myself. Looking to get 5 people before the end of this year.
