Re: Foreflight vs wingx

when you zoom in or out with foreflight, it takes a second or two to redraw your map. With wingx it keeps your map up and loses nothing. Not a real big deal I guess but I like my screen to always be seen.

Also pay attention to sticking with the rudder, don;t get lazy. If you climb out at 60 and stick with the rud...

I had a 1947 aeronca chief and was wondering why it did not have a poh in it. After doing some checking I had found out the chief did not have a poh for it and therefore did not require carrying one.

A buddy of mine started this company in wautoma wisconsin and has since sold the business. The genesiss is a nice flying plane but is heavy. It drops like a rock when power is pulled. Even with just a few instruments it is a heavy bird. other than that its not a bad plane. Just be ready to keep powe...

That $34 is not a total cost though. you are not including your payment for that expensive aircraft, insurance, or maintenance costs. But you are right it is a lot of fun anyways!!!!

Do not be afraid of the taildragger. That is all they had years ago. A taildragger makes you a better pilot(in my oppinion). Once you get really proficient at a taildragger you won't want to fly a trycicle gear again. They can do a lot that a nose gear can't. I say go for it and you will be glad you...

It all depends on your ability and if your instructor feels your ready and SAFE. There is no time regulation for solo. It is not a good idea to rush it as you need to have hours with the instructor anyway, so you may as well make sure you are ready and confident. Most people solo around 10 or so, I ...
