Re: Grounded plane
Ops, my apologies. Yes its a 921ULS. I am not exactly sure what they have done other than what I have put down here. Just looking to see if there is anything glaring based upon the symptoms they experienced.

Grounded plane
Hi my plane (a 2020 colt with 200 hours) is currently being ferried from Florida to Texas. After a routine stop for gas , the pilot experienced a 2000 RPM drop on the right mag during the run up. A local mechanic on the field (not a Rotax expert) has been attempting to diagnose the problem, but appe...

Re: high fuel pressure question
Good that you have manufacturer support. Let them fix it as it might require swapping out several parts to troubleshoot it. I went through months trouble shooting a fuel pressure issue. (Different manufacturer.) First I swapped out the sender then the avionics. Then hooked up an analog fuel pressur...

Re: high fuel pressure question
No. I asked the builder that question. They actually took my plane back to the factory and left me with there demo plane. During the time I had it, I did not experience any problems at all with fuel pressure.

Re: high fuel pressure question
Hi. Once again, I maybe using the wrong terms. My plane is a new 2020 SlSA. From delivery I have been experiencing erratic fuel flow readings. Despite numerous attempts, including taking my plane back to their factory, the vendor/builder has been unable to resolve the issue, despite assurances its b...

Re: high fuel pressure question
Your first problem is that you have an A&P working on your LSA. Had you had a LSRM working on it he would have known the difference between a fuel flow transducer and a fuel pressure transducer. Hold on while I climb down off my soapbox..........I would suggest checking the ground con...

Re: high fuel pressure question
Thanks. No idea, but I’ll get some input from A/P. If your theory is correct, this suggests that the actual fuel pressure is potentially OK ( which could be the case as the plane flys very well) but is more a sensor/misreading issue, which is what the guy is telling me. Is my understanding correct?

high fuel pressure question
Been struggling with a problem related to High fuel pressure alarms going off intermittently on my plane. I have a Rotax 912 ULS on a high wing. Avionics are all Garmin and the PFD is a G3 Touch. So far we have changed the Transducer (which is a Electronics international FT-60) and the electric fuel...

Re: 2013 Tecnam P2008 (Turbo)
My apologies, I did not realize that a "for sale" posting on this forum were subject to policing and unsolicited advice.
As stated, my plane has an after market BRS system that can be removed, thus taking the plane back to its original factory weight.

Re: 2013 Tecnam P2008 (Turbo)
Too late sir !!!!
The plane came out of the factory at 884lbs. The BRS system actually added 72lbs. (done by Tecnam USA) Not questioning your math. However, I would like to think that Tecnam know a thing or two about aircraft and the associated reqs......

Re: 2013 Tecnam P2008 (Turbo)
Yes the weight is correct, and yes I am assured by Tecnam that this plane does meet ATSM requirements. It is heavy, as stated. There is a lot on the plane, some of which of can be taken out (BRS for example that when installed added 70lbs.) But it has met my personal mission, being only 150lbs.
