So I have a question. I know that Rotax offers a course for how to maintain and work on the Rotax engine. However, it seems like this course is more for those who are going to be certified mechanics and work on Rotax engines for a living.

What about those of us who want to work on our own Rotax engine and ONLY our own Rotax engine? Does the Rotax corporation offer anything for that?

The courses you would want to take is the "Service and Line Maint" course. It is for anyone that want to work on a Rotax engine and not just mechanics. Owner work is no different than certified mechanic work. The work and out come is the same.
