Hi everyone. My name is Mark Goolie from Columbus, Ohio. I started flying when I was 16 but was unable to finish my training due to money and college. So some 24 years later I'm going to get my Sport Pilot license here soon.

Later,
Mark

Hey, Mark, welcome aboard. This is a cool place to hang out - especially if you have an interest in Sport Pilot.

Don't fret about the 24 years. I took 37 years off before returning to the skies in 2008. Enjoy.

Hope you got good wx, and got a lesson in, Mark. Where are you training? There's a flight school at Delaware OH (DLZ) that has a nice Gobosh 700S. I tried to buy it from them last year, but they decided at the last minute to keep it, because it was earning money for them!

Fly safely, and have fun.

SportPilotTalk.com is the discussion forum for sport pilots and light-sport aircraft.  The FAA's new rule, in effect since September 2004, created a new pilot certificate dubbed the "sport pilot" that makes learning to fly easier and more affordable that ever before.  The new rule also created a new category of aircraft - light sport aircraft - which has introduced a new fleet of modern, affordable sport aircraft.  Now, learning to fly is no more expensive than a small motorcycle, boat or pop-up camper!
