You can add pictures to your post from any website that allows "direct linking." Photographs are not actually stored on the SportPilotTalk server, they are just displayed from where the photo is stored.
For example, I want to show a picture from the www.example.com website. (this is not a real website)
Go to www.example.com and find the picture you are looking for. Right-click on the photograph and click on "properties." You will see an item called Address (URL). Copy this address and insert it into your message.
The address should end in ".jpg" or ".gif" or a similar picture format.
Then highlight the address that you just copied into your message and click on the IMG button. The IMG button will add an
"" tag at the end of the picture's address.
That's it! Your photograph will then be displayed when you view your post. _________________ Give a man a fish and you've fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you've fed him for a lifetime.

SportPilotTalk.com is the discussion forum for sport pilots and light-sport aircraft. The FAA's new rule, in effect since September 2004, created a new pilot certificate dubbed the "sport pilot" that makes learning to fly easier and more affordable that ever before. The new rule also created a new category of aircraft - light sport aircraft - which has introduced a new fleet of modern, affordable sport aircraft. Now, learning to fly is no more expensive than a small motorcycle, boat or pop-up camper!
