I am so excited today I did my first solo. It was so cool to look over and see an empty seat next to me. Not that I did not enjoy having my flight instructor there, but its been a goal to see an empty seat next to me. I did about 6 landings today by myself with my instructor watching from his car next to the runway. My landings were right down the center and smooth. Only issue was a rough running engine on my last landing of the day. Other then that it was an awesome flying day. If you wish to try an trouble shoot the rough running engine go to hanger talk and look at my topic.

Good job. Practice, practice, practice. Glad to have you aboard as a solo pilot and goo dluck on finishing it out.

I'm ashamed to say, I don't remember my first solo. I remember the first time I flew a jet.

Congrats! It's a major milestone... I would like to say I remember mine, but if I didn't have a video, it was just a happy blur...
