Hello pilots.

I would like to hear your opinions, ideas, suggestions.

I have a possibility to sell okume plywood with 2 types of glue phenolic and normal. High quality plywood. I will build my plane with this plywood.

Fine thickness, 1.5 mm (0,060"), 2mm (0,078"), 2.5mm (0,098") and 3mm (0,011")
The size plywood produce is 2.500x1.200 (98,5" x 47,24"). Density 450 kg/m3

Could I sell it in pieces cutting it in half.

Could it be of interest to all aircraft builders?.

What do you think?.

thanks

I would think that if you can build and fly a successful experimental aircraft with this plywood, and post design information online, that will improve your chances of marketing the plywood as a viable aircraft construction material. Good luck!

Cut in half it might bo to small for some applications, but the smaller pieces would be just right for the model airplane/hobbyist market.

I don' know if you are considering selling the wood in your country or exporting it to the US. The Gibson Guitar company has had a huge legal problem with imported wood. The US government seized a large shipment from India because of questions of where it came from and how it was processed. I do not know if this would be a problem with your wood and your company. I do know that if the wood is seized, the chances of getting it released are small.

Hello Jim.

Aircraft Spruce, also sells. but very expensive, and has thin plywood (fine 0,060")

no problem.
