New student in Central Texas

Post by CenTex Flyer »

Good evening Y'all.
After reading this Forum since November, '09, and finally decided it was time to jump in and participate.
I have aquired about 5 hrs of basic flight training in a Cessna 152, and if the Texas weather will cooperate, hope to complete 10 hrs at the local airport (about 10 minutes from home). I will then transition to Step-Up Aviation at AUS (about 80 miles) to complete the Sport Pilot training in their Tecnam Bravo.
Thanks to everyone who posts here, I learn something everytime I visit.

Welcome to the boards.

There are definitely a lot of very knowledgable pilots on the boards and I too pick up a great deal of information from them. Good luck on your training.
