The young lady I spoke to did not know if there was a charge - if there is, I don't mind.

Until then...
I have a RV demo scheduled for Friday morning. No charge that I am aware of.

My mission for this trip to Sebring is to narrow the field and hopefully come to a decision on which LSA is right for me.

I'll be in touch.

You seem to have defined your mission pretty well, Flocker. That should help you narrow down your choice.

You will like flying the -12. I really enjoyed my flight in that plane. I would also recommend you look at the RANS S-19 also and try to fly it as well. I flew both and decided to build the RV-12 but I really liked the S-19 as well. One thing you might notice when you drop the flaperons on the -12 is there is a serious pitching moment. At least in my Gobosh when I drop flaps I don't notice that serious of a pitching moment. Mitch actually pointed it out to me before he dropped the flaps. In any case, I am sure you will enjoy the flight.

Glad you're coming, Flocker. I look forward to meeting you there. I'm also staying at Inn On the Lakes (for the third time), so will maybe see you at breakfast.
Just checked the Wx for Thursday [the day I plan to fly in]:

"Sunny, with a high near 56. Wind chill values as low as 32 early. Northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph."

You weren't kidding about it being windy!

PS - I'm at Chateau Elan. Inn on the Lakes was full. I'll find you...
Just re-checked Wx for Thursday:

"Scattered showers before 8am. Sunny, with a high near 58. Wind chill values as low as 34 early. North northwest wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible."

At least the winds have subsided.

Pictures... don't forget pictures!

I know, I was gonna come down, but it turned out for the best that I didn't. Two sick kids and a geriatric shepherd would have left my wife decidedly unhappy (but still immensely capable).

In Sebring now. Arrived 2:30 AM after the typical airline debacle of missed connections and cancelled flights. See you this afternoon, gang.

I had to make a last minute cancellation. Pulled my back muscles causing spasm and difficult breathing. No Go decisions are really hard.
