BTW, I'll pass on a little-known tip: when you start feeling queasy and think you might throw up, your instructor's flight bag doubles as an air-sick sack.

Glad you enjoyed your first flight. At least you experienced the bumps right out of the gate. When it's calm it's even more AMAZING.
