Sport aviation is growing rapidly. But the new sport pilot / light-sport aircraft rules are still a mystery to many flight schools and instructors. Commercial drone operator training

Many of you are aware that the new rules for commercial drone operation and Remote Pilot certification went into effect on 29 August 2016. I've spent a good part of the past year developing curriculum for training Remote Pilots, and obtained what I believe was the first certificate issued under FAR Part 107 at 06:18 (zero dark eighteen) on the morning of the 29th. Last week my flight school graduated its first class of five prospective commercial Remote Pilots. I have a new website online which outlines my program.
