Later you will reflect on the anxiety your instructor probably felt. I never turned anyone loose until I was sure they were ready, but there's always that lingering doubt and you never know for certain how the student will do all by his or her lonesome.
But you did him proud! Another hurdle passed.
And the Sting Sport looks like a great trainer - good choice there as well.

It does look like a sting sport, doesn't it? It's an evektor sportstar though. The first time I looked at a sting's picture online, I thought it looks like the evektor.
Congrats. Nice job! You will walk a little taller after your first solo.
A big part of the solo is setting up the mindset for even greater achievement.
But I think he liked it all in all.
