First solo!

Sport aviation is growing rapidly. But the new sport pilot / light-sport aircraft rules are still a mystery to many flight schools and instructors. To locate a flight school offering sport pilot training and/or light-sport aircraft rentals, click on the "Flight School And Rental Finder" tab above. This is a great place to share ideas on learning to fly, flight schools, costs and anything else related to training.

Great job!

Later you will reflect on the anxiety your instructor probably felt. I never turned anyone loose until I was sure they were ready, but there's always that lingering doubt and you never know for certain how the student will do all by his or her lonesome.

But you did him proud! Another hurdle passed.

And the Sting Sport looks like a great trainer - good choice there as well.

Go get 'em!
Thanks FastEddieB! I think I can already feel his anxiety. I already know my performance was less than flawless :P But I think he liked it all in all.

It does look like a sting sport, doesn't it? It's an evektor sportstar though. The first time I looked at a sting's picture online, I thought it looks like the evektor.

Congrats!! And I'm really glad you got such a kick out of it. I was really happy for my first solo, but frankly it was rather anticlimactic for me. :)

Now do us proud and finish up the rest of your ticket!

Congrats. Nice job! You will walk a little taller after your first solo.
A big part of the solo is setting up the mindset for even greater achievement.
