Need a CFI in Columbia SC

Sport aviation is growing rapidly. But the new sport pilot / light-sport aircraft rules are still a mystery to many flight schools and instructors. To locate a flight school offering sport pilot training and/or light-sport aircraft rentals, click on the "Flight School And Rental Finder" tab above. This is a great place to share ideas on learning to fly, flight schools, costs and anything else related to training.

Need a CFI in Columbia SC

Post by nbjeeptj »

I bought a s-lsa airplane with my dad and am having a problem finding an instructor. It's anything from to busy at work to it's to hot this time of year.
Any info on finding someone would be helpful. Thanks

I have one of the best locators for sport pilot flight instructors and pilots who may know of instructors. If you find one and they are not on my map please let me know so I can get them on.

That is the same airplane I do my training in.

Check out some great pictures at:

and videos at:

Hopefully he will get some transition training. It usually takes Cessna pilots about 5 hours to transition/get "checked out" to a Zodiac 601. Make sure he gets transitioned before he teaches you or there might be problems.

He will be getting 3 hr of duel instruction on friday also per my insurance company requirement he will have 2 hr of solo after that before he can teach me. I saw your videos online and it caused my to fall in love with the plane. So at the end of the day this bleeding of cash is your fault.
