Sport aviation is growing rapidly. But the new sport pilot / light-sport aircraft rules are still a mystery to many flight schools and instructors. FAA proposal for Private/IFR Combination

Any thoughts on the FAA's rulemaking on a combined private pilot/IFR rating license? How will this affect the LSA student market who can only complete one and not the other?

There shouldn't be any difference - Sport Pilot is separate from Private Pilot.
