The 1st two pics were taken with an iPhone 5s. The wing mount shot is a GoPro4.

...and just a bit further west and inland, you can visit one of Florida's largest and most beautiful forests, Blackwater River State Forest.

Image

Spring fed swimming lake, nice walking trails, and hot/cold showers if you wish to spend the night under-wing, with the airfield all to yourself. You need to request a user permit to land but it is easily arranged and free. This is the kind of recreational destination we RAF folks are keen to reopen. Thanks to the Blackwater staff and Florida Forest Service, this smooth, wide, long airfield was made available to the public via the user permit process after decades of the public being turned away. And our anniversary fly-in events there have included many LSA a/c given how forgiving the grass surface is.

If this appeals, the pilot brief can be found here, which includes links to the forest itself. There's a lot more beauty in the Panhandle than it often gets credit for.

No,I wish. I call it mine because I fly it more than anyone else. Flocker practically owns the one at KPDK because he flies it more than anyone else.
Near exclusive rental is probably better than owning. Up to a point.
