Wow, this would seem to have some terrific possibilities...

Neat. But at $1200-$2900, I wonder how many they'll sell. Video Pros I guess. They announced that a whole year ago, it's taken a while to get to market.

I'd settle for a super secure suction mount that doesn't shake the camera in the windstream.

I got one! I'll be using it for a couple new camera angles in my upcoming "Introduction to Stalls in the Sting Airplane" video. I'll show a photo of it in the video for you...if it doesn't come off during filming.

Great! Is it homemade? I was thinking I might have to fab something up with multiple suction cup mount points.drdehave wrote:"I'd settle for a super secure suction mount that doesn't shake the camera in the windstream."

Re: Another Toy for GoPro Cameras
I'll get back here to you--after some more testing tomorrow.
Re: Another Toy for GoPro Cameras
Well, that turned into several "tomorrows," but here's what is working for me, to keep vibration at bay with a GoPro outside, on the fuselauge.
The trick is the use of a rubber "wedge" that, as the camera is tightened down with the arm, gets wedged in place.
The wedge consists of a piece of flexible sprinkler riser with a rubber cap (rubber stool leg protectors) on each end--a flat surface against the airplane and a notch fitting over the camera ridge; for different lengths of wedge, use a different length of sprinkler riser.
Here's how nice and steady it performs--in this preview of my next video (in progress): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmHIkI_KUlg

Re: Another Toy for GoPro Cameras
Great idea for the wedge. I will try that this weekend, I had vibration with the outside camera on my last run.
Thanks
