Busy day at Aero Country

It was another busy day in the DFW area with my home airport (T31) hosting some unknown event involving classic planes and cars. That's me in the Sting:

Dave, why does the first photo show you and the Cub landing in opposite directions? (i know ... The winds were calm.)

Kind of looks that way, doesn't it. but I was on the taxiway heading back to the hangar.

I WAS a bit unhappy with that particular Cub as he cut me off in the pattern when I was on final. He was running a low and tight pattern and broke off from a downwind. No way he didn't know I was on final (and I don't run a pattern beyond gliding distance from the runway). Nor did he consider the RV behind me on still on downwind. I'm pretty sure he was NORDO with no transponder but his seen-n-avoid assumed he was the only one in the pattern. Everyone else worked together for a very orderly crowded airspace.

Good thing is that I nailed the landing with 10-20 people watching

Getting off the ground is not the problem. Staying off the ground and being in control, now that is the problem.
