Will you look at that slick Stratus II, comfortably settled in its holder. Very nice...

Very nice photo!

But speaking of holders...

...is that an unsecured tablet to the right on the glareshield?

If so, a good "air pocket" could launch it in what could be at the very least a distracting manner, or at worst could end up jamming something.

If it's Velcro'd down or something, never mind. Otherwise, it is something to consider.

You could say the same thing about the Stratus II holder, Eddie. The soft rubbery bottom of the holder is non-slip but not grippy. FWIW I found a smooth, flat surface inbetween our Grumman's two front seats. Using some sticky velcro patches, the II lives there on all the day's flights, LEDs easy to monitor, comes off the a/c each evening. And WRT one of Rich's '12 Lessons', the 'living document' checklist had the Stratus on/off steps added once it came aboard.

Same camera. Same settings. Same host server. Not sure why the other ones are extra wide...
