X air Hanuman SLSA

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

X air Hanuman SLSA

Post by Cub flyer »

Rumor has it that X air will be introducing a SLSA at Sebring for
$46,500.

Mine flew ok so this looks good for a trend in SLSA pricing.

The Hanuman is similar to the Rans S-6 and Skyranger.

Tractor, high wing enclosed cabin, Jabiru powered with tricycle gear.

Will be interesting to see what they show up with.

They had at least two aircraft there. Did not see them fly.

Yes, they had two of the X-Air LS there. Price $46,900. Has Jabiru 2200 engine (85hp) empty weight 630 pounds, gross weight 1234 pounds according to the brochure I got from them.
