So unless AVweb is pulling an April's fool joke, I think the FAA just postponed the requirement until 2040...

Yeah, I fell for it. 20-year delay? Just outrageous to be true. At which time they think "1/2 will have complied". And then I saw the "$25 dollar" rebate.
And then, of course, you click on the website to register for the rebate......
