IIRC the B-52 has castoring mains that are connected to the rudder so it can land in a crab and the wheels stay straight down the runway.Wm.Ince wrote:Believe it or not, most airliners are capable of landing the same way. That withstanding, I would say that technique is rarely used by most airline pilots.
