That's one of the thingI liked about the Tecnams …easy cowling access. I also like the way they leave space on the inside of the wheel fairings to allow easier access to brake inspection and to inflate the tires if necessary.jake wrote:An example. Quick and easy engine access makes it easy to identify a potential problem and encourages better preflight inspections.
One time in northern Minnesota I stopped for lunch and was only away from the airplane for an hour or so. When I came back there was a couple pieces of grass under the cowl so I opened it up and was surprised to see an almost fully finished bird nest!
