Any tecnam owners or pilots here?

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Welcome to the forum!
If you're in Eugene, you might want to know about the Fly In of classic aircraft at the Cottage Grove airport very near you Saturday June 27th from 11am to, I think, 4pm.

What do you fly?
What airport out of?

If you fly down to Ashland, do give a call.

I fly out of Creswell (77S) and occasionally out of Lebanon (S30). For the last couple months I've been working on a CFI-Sport so that's meant a lot of time in the club Skycatcher. I'll eventually buy an aircraft of my own but I vacillate between a 172/182 (for camping, XC trips, and general useful load) versus a LSA.

I'll be down in that general area in a couple weeks, or whenever we get a cooler day or two - I need to chat with the DPE who'll be doing my CFI. He's out of Illinois Valley. I figure I'll make a weekend out of it - stop by there on a Friday afternoon, then hop over to Gold Beach for the rest of the weekend.

Alex,

Thanks for the invite. I'll give you a heads up if I head down that way. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Tecnam (as well as your Skyranger).
