Medical Reform Legislation introduced to House and Senate

Talk about airplanes! At last count, there are 39 (and growing) FAA certificated S-LSA (special light sport aircraft). These are factory-built ready to fly airplanes. If you can't afford a factory-built LSA, consider buying an E-LSA kit (experimental LSA - up to 99% complete).

Yes, I noticed that editorial comment in AC, as well. I found it an odd comment given the NPRM the FAA has already authored on that very issue, and which has not yet been made public. And of course shortly after AC's comment, the PBOR2 legislation was announced. IMO a far more accurate editorial comment would be that the pilot community doesn't know what to believe re: future 3rd class medical requirements. As is likely true of the AC editor, as well.

I think it has something to do with the horse.

Andreas Lubitz killed any chance of 3rd Class Medical "reform".

No congressman who values his career, will ever again support the AOPA/EAA initiative.

Attached as a rider to the highway funding bill, I hear.

The frustration is so immense that it can not even begin to be expressed here... out of decency and probably several laws that would prohibit certain language...
