Flew one of these at Sebring. Could not agree more!!!jake wrote:If you have never flown behind the 914 I can tell you it is a sweetheart and my clear favorite. Turbine smooth, quiet and lots of power! Shut down is more conventional also without the abrupt prop stop.

Are you referring to product information or a list of RV-12 training/rental resources?c162pilot wrote:I usually like to fly when I am in a new location. Vans does a very nice job of putting out a regular update on the RV12 perhaps Tecnam may consider doing the same thing for your line of aircraft.
If the later, can you please post a link? Thanks!

I receive an email about once a month that is a newsletter about the factory built LSA. They also publish the newsletter on their website at the link below:

This is the plane on my 2014 Christmas wish list.Nomore767 wrote:Astore at Tecnam booth Sun and Fun 2014
Just how good do you have to be to score one of these???
Do I still have time to make up for a dubious first half of the year?
Re: Tecnam launches in the USA
Mark, any updates on Tecnam? Can you give us a sneak peek on what aircraft will be at the 2015 LSA Expo?

I think a great part of the Vans RV-12 success is that they really have their product and marketing together. Product, price point, attractiveness / packaging (How about those colorful paint jobs!), collateral involvement (national tours and Sporty's sweepstakes), videos... including Dynon reps presenting in their aircraft, newsletter, and ASAP professional sales support.c162pilot wrote:I receive an email about once a month that is a newsletter about the factory built LSA. Many manufactures & distributors could benefit by following the Van's marketing model.

Re: Tecnam launches in the USA
With our main corporate office located in Sebring I can guarantee we will have every model there including the P2006 Twin.
We will have a big splash so please plan to come!
Expect to see the P Twenty-Ten debut at Sun and Fun.

Of course a company that has a main corporate office at Sebring has made a nice move as well!

We get it. It's not a CTLSi.CTLSi wrote:The aircraft is not advanced.

Any yet they sell a lot them and have a huge following.
The RV-12 is a great plane. Flies great. Has a large following.
Great price point… I think about $125k new with Skyview.
The RV-12 community is huge.
I can't put 30 gallons in my SportCruiser if I'm carrying passengers.
Like everything else, it comes down to mission, priorities and budget.
We have some great SportPilotTalk members here that are enjoying their RV-12's.
Maybe high wing composite just isn't right for them.
