So I don't have to be smart or "know stuff" to be a pilot...
I just have to be brave and make lot of money!

Or, you could just become a flight instructor, Richard. That way, you don't have to be smart or know stuff either, and don't even have to work, since the student does all the flying! Plus, you get to make very little money.
