One nice thing about the CT line is that all the controls except the rudder pedals are pretty well sealed up.
My Citabrias had leather or vinyl boots around the stick bases to avoid this sort if thing.
But one time I was demonstrating a spin to a passenger in the back, and after the requisite number of turns I went to pop the stick forward and it was jammed all the way back. I kind of forced it and it popped free, but it was about the worst feeling one can have in a plane.
What had happened? My parachutes had a chest strap, and the passenger's was apparently loose enough it had ridden down over the top of the rear stick. Yikes!
Little things, like an insulin pump or a water bottle or a hockey puck antenna or a parachute chest strap can kill if one isn't careful
