AOPA St. Simons Fly-In

Anyone else planning on attending? Wx permitting, we plan to fly-in on Friday afternoon.

500+ planes attended according to the AOPA volunteers I spoke to. Great weekend in St. Simons. Worth the trip.

KSSI. The Arrival procedures officially began at noon on Friday. We landed just prior to that. I'd say the bulk of the group arrived on Saturday morning. It was interesting to watch the row of landing lights on final while listening to the CTAF. Looked like Hartsfield.

We flew home early on Sunday morning.
