We have a Ercoupe 415C that meets the LSA criteria except there is a question regarding the propeller.
The aircraft is equipped with an Aeromatic propeller which will go to a flat pitch on takeoff for higher RPM and will go to a course pitch for cruise when the airspeed increases and the throttle is reduced.
This propeller has only two adjustments which must be made on the ground and can not be changed in flight. This propeller is type certificated for this aircraft.
How will this propeller effect this aircrafts use as an LSA?
Use of an Aeromatic propeller!

from the specific regulation for a LSA
"(7) A fixed or ground-adjustable propeller if a powered aircraft other than a powered glider."
my opinion is the same. Good to go
