Fly-Ins are excuses for pilots to go somewhere and eat. Airplanes. Food. What else could you ask for? Know of an upcoming fly-in? A great $100 hamburger? Don't keep it a secret. Share it here!

The manager of The Runway Cafe ran out and took a picture of the RV-12…said it was the first one to park there for lunch.

Nice restaurant, nice staff! Great location, land on Runway 1 and tax right off to parking by the restaurant.

ATC there are really good too, friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed meeting up with Jim and talking about Light Sport flying!!

Not sure yet, I have to do a 100 hour inspection plus keeping an eye on the weather.

Update: Flocker, can't make the Breakfast Club this Sunday. Going to try for the next one!

No worries Jim.

I got a couple of hours in this afternoon since the plane is going to sit for 2 weeks starting tomorrow whilst we visit the UK.

Been playing with some software glitches after last Dynon update. Modern planes have software glitches that a wrench and a can of oil can't fix!! :) Achhh….

Burned some auto-gas and talked with a guy about getting my own pump to siphon it into the plane and avoid spilling. Nice. Helped a hangar neighbor find a part for his C150.

We can meet up again at KGMU and and shoot the breeze as the better weather comes.

This morning was nice and smooth, this afternoon bumpy and squirrely winds…springtime. :)

Howard, where do you hang your hat in the UK? (my late mum had a flat in Northwood, which sadly I never got to visit. But I still hear occasionally from all her friends there.)
Safe travels. Be sure to check in when you get back to the States.

Same here. I'm sure we crossed paths yesterday. I flew 252 to CEU and stopped for lunch at LZU on the way back. It was a nice day to fly.

Paul,

Both my wife and I are from the south coast area of UK. Hampshire for me (that's OLD Hampshire! ).

We'll be mostly around the London area visiting my Mum and then down south near Bournemouth to visit Gayle's Mum.

Ya'll notice we're from the Southern part of UK…hence we fit right in here in SC!!
