Piper Cub Heaven

Fly-Ins are excuses for pilots to go somewhere and eat. Airplanes. Food. What else could you ask for? Know of an upcoming fly-in? A great $100 hamburger? Don't keep it a secret. Share it here!

Piper Cub Heaven

"On an overcast, humid June day, I top a high dike built to prevent the Susquehanna River from flooding William T. Piper Memorial airport. The levee gives a wonderful elevated view of the eastern end of the airfield, nestled north and south by steep, tree-choked ridges rising above the once-thriving industrial town of Lock Haven, Pa."

Dave I think you posted this under the wrong category "100 hamburgers" I just had something out of the "Professors vending machine" and used less than 4 gal of fuel @ 3.80 a gal.

1.00 Vending machine
15.20 Fuel out
15.20 Fuel return
.00 Water
--------
$31.40

:D

That leaves $68.60 for a burger! Nice margin. Cheese is extra.
