But most of all, I kind of forgot about it and didn't call to reserve the plane.
I just checked. 29Z is available. I'd be willing to split the cost if you still want to go...

Beautiful here, apparently not so much south once out of the mountains.

Still, need to fly so will go take a look.

It was not great flying weather, but it was never that bad and we always had an airport within 15 to 20 miles if things went downhill.

In any case, a quick and dirty video (less than 2 minutes, best at 720p):

I totally forgot to turn on my visor-mounted GoPro for the landing, but Karen had her iPhone4 at the ready.

If my landings looked like yours, Eddie, I'd forget to turn on the camera too! :-P

Flew to GA2 yesterday for lunch at the Barnstormers Grill.

Here's our landing sequence:

Traversed the Bravo over Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta on the way back to PDK, here's a pic:

Nice Video Eddie!

Couple of things I'd like to ask you…how did you come by the name "Fast" Eddie, and in your videos I notice just before you launch you tap your head with your left hand?

Cheers, Howard

Legend has it it was a nickname my ex came up with on our honeymoon*.

Not actually tapping my head.

It's one final check to make sure my canopy is latched - I have to lift my left arm to confirm the lever really does say CLOSED. I failed to do that one time, and the results could have been tragic - but fortunately weren't.

*though I prefer to think its because many women see me as a slightly better looking Paul Newman!
