Grand Canyon map

Hi Ernie,

The Grand Canyon area has it's own map. It's a very detailed map of the whole GC area from east to west. Think of it as a terminal area map. It just shows more detail than a regular sectional. You can buy one and or look at one on www.skyvector.com
There will be some maps there with the other fliers.

We fly in small groups and there is always a group leader. It would be hard to get lost here and I have posted the VFR corridors for our flights. Flying over the GC makes you feel pretty small. That's our only high altitude flight. Everything else is rather low to the ground.

Hi All,

We are stuffed full and the hotel is sold out. This will be one of the largest LSA gatherings in the states. It's like a giant potluck dinner and everyone comes. All the wive's make the husbands bring them back every year. We even have film crews that are coming now. LOOP magazine coming from the UK. For those that are coming this is one fun shindig and for those not coming then maybe next year and we'll be thinking of you this year, skimming the decks through Monument Valley and the other destinations.

Hi All,

Everyone at Page, AZ had a great time. It is more like a huge family reunion than a fly in. Weather has been perfect 5 years in a row and no other scenery like it anywhere.
Next year's fly in will be Oct. 18-21, 2012
Hope to see more people there. We keep growing and it's mostly all LSA's.

Thanks Roger this was my 4th year and I can't beleive that anyone with an LSA does not come and join us.. It is some of the best fun you can have at a reasonable price.... Denise had a great time and enjoyed meeting all the people I have become friends with...

Thanks again for all the work you do to make this event so much fun...
