MOGAS help in S GA on 4/15/10?

Fly-Ins are excuses for pilots to go somewhere and eat. Airplanes. Food. What else could you ask for? Know of an upcoming fly-in? A great $100 hamburger? Don't keep it a secret. Share it here!

MOGAS help in S GA on 4/15/10?

Post by FastEddieB »

Kool Karen and I plan to fly to Sun 'n' Fun next Thursday, weather permitting.

The ROTAX in our Sky Arrow is designed for auto fuel (91+ octane with no more than 5% ethanol). It will run on 100LL, but not as well - it seems silly to spend more for a fuel that's not as good for one's engine.

We were wondering if anyone might be able to give us a hand with some MOGAS in S GA - we'd need 15 gals or so, and someplace like Valdosta or Waycross would be ideal. I'll pay for the gas cans if necessary (and the fuel, of course!)

Same thing on the way home, on or about the 21st or 22nd as well.

If you can help us out, let me know at [email protected] or 706-492-3118

BTW, we plan on flying into the grass strip on the south side and camping there through Saturday. Look forward to seeing some of you there - my cell is 954-383-6040 if you'd like to touch base while there.
