New England Light Sport EXPO at KSFM Aug 16 & 17, 2008

Fly-Ins are excuses for pilots to go somewhere and eat. Airplanes. Food. What else could you ask for? Know of an upcoming fly-in? A great $100 hamburger? Don't keep it a secret. Share it here!

New England Light Sport EXPO at KSFM Aug 16 & 17, 2008

Post by flymaine »

The Town of Sanford, Maine is excited about hosting the New England Light Sport Expo on August 16th and 17th. Special-Light Sport Aircraft (SLSA) manufacturers and dealers have been invited to bring their airplanes to the Sanford Regional Airport (KSFM) so that area pilots can compare the planes wing-tip-to-wing-tip. As an added benefit, they will offer inexpensive demonstration flights throughout the events. The regional Gobosh dealer, for example, will have a static display aircraft there as well as a demonstrator plane flipping rides. Other aircraft that have already committed to being there include Gobosh G700, Legend Cub, Flight Design USA CTLS, Highlander, FPNA A-22 Valor, Rans Aircraft from Kansas (if scheduling permits), Thorpedo, and X-Air.

The New England Light Sport Expo will offer seminars both days that will detail specifics on Sport Pilot regulations, medical requirements, ownership, and maintenance issues. Pancake breakfast and take-off/spot landing contests!!

Enjoy Light Sport Aviation --an affordable option!
