What's your thoughts on Viking engine.

I'd be a little leery of any product whose website doesn't list the price anywhere, just the required deposit. As a rule, I don't sign blank checks.

I think you would be a lab rat until this engine gets a few years on it without any major issues. Look at all the issues Jabiru had for a while. Any support services and parts may be hard to come by. No support network or knowledge base for mechanic's and owners.

Thanks. When I followed the links to Engine Packages and Instructions, all I got were the deposit amount and Firewall Forward Kit prices. Apparently, you have to make them think you're placing an order before they will tell you how much.

In any case, it is certainly competitively priced. Will be anxious to see some pireps.
