Learning systems

Post by cully »

Hi all,
I'm not terribly mechanically inclined, so I am having a little trouble understanding how everything is happening and working together (cooling, electrical, etc) in the rotax 912uls I train in.

I just wondered if anyone had any good general references to recommend? I have read the rotax owners manual, but guess it's gone over my head.

I realize that ultimately the answer might be paid CFI time and the embarrassment of asking some stupid questions  .... However, if anyone knows a good general airplane systems/ rotax simplified guide, that would be preferred for me.

Thanks!!!

Google, and search for the Rotax manual.

One of the things I looked up was the different readings I would see on my EMS.
