H. Paul Shuch is a Light Sport Repairman with Maintenance ratings for airplanes, gliders, weight shift control, and powered parachutes, as well as an independent Rotax Maintenance Technician at the Heavy Maintenance level. He holds a PhD in Air Transportation Engineering from the University of California, and serves as Director of Maintenance for AvSport of Lock Haven.
What's going on in REMOS Arkansas. I called what used to be Nick's cell number to ask a maintenance question and got a woman who said he no longer works there and that their was no one in the maintenance shop.
They're scaling Arkansas way back. All service questions go to Germany now, via email.
They're no longer carrying parts - you'll have to order from a "service center" or directly from Germany.
Doesn't exactly seem like a positive development.
