Insurance-saved $400 by one day

I used a broker recommended by members of this forum. He sent me a renewal for one year at $2000. I signed it but didn't send it to him yet when he sends me an urgent email. From Jon Shimer, ins. broker.
"I got you one much cheaper!" It was for $1600. I guess these insurance companies set their rate but throwing darts at a board.

The best rental insurance I found was the AOPA Insurance Group. It's only like $179/year with a 10% renewal discount.

I'm guessing that's for liability only. What limit? How much is their hull insurance for, let's say, $100k limit?
