Clubs that don't own planes seems to be kind of the norm in the PP world. I also point to our next door neighbors at KTTA, Wings over Carolina. Now you know of two.
But in the LSA world, there just isn't the available inventory.
There's hundreds of flying clubs around the country that own and manage aircraft for their members. Aside from the camaraderie, clubs make flying more affordable.
